"Russian Roulette" appeared in the 19th century, but who invented the game is unknown.Standard rules of the game:The empty drum revolver charged one cartridge.
Rotate the drum so that the players would not know where the charged cartridge.
Alternately fired from a revolver, if gun shot - player loses.
